Juror Biography
Susan Holland is Curator of the John M. Parrot Art Gallery in the Belleville Publc Library where she oversees all aspects of the only public art gallery in the Quinte region. Prior to taking on this role, she was the owner - operator of a custom framing and art gallery in Bloomfield. She is a past Chair of the Prince Edward County Arts Council, a founding member of Taste the Country for Prince Edward County, and was an Executive Committee member of the Maker's Hand, Eastern Ontario Fine Craft Marketplace.
Juror Statement
"Thank you for the privilege of being the juror for this year's Exhibition. I found the works submitted to be of an excellent artistic caliber and to cover a very wide range of subjects and content. I have chosen a variety which I hope shows the diversity and creativity of the fine artists of this region. Kudos to everyone who submitted art for this Exhibition."

The Exhibit
A total of 49 works from the 78 entries submitted were selected by the Juror for the Juried Show exhibit. Visitors to the Lindsay Gallery from July 3 to 30 may vote for their favourite work of art in the Exhibit. The work of art voted the most popular wins the People's Choice Award, which is presented to the winning artist after the exhibit ends.

Congratulations to Lynda Cunningham, whose piece was voted most popular in the July Juried Show at The Lindsay Gallery. This award is presented when the exhibit closes to the artist who has received the most votes by the Gallery visitors during the Exhibit.
