Artist’s Statement

I sincerely believe that one of the finest privileges of being a painter is to have the capability to materialize images, which for myself, begin as manifestations within the deepest recesses of my thoughts.  I delight in releasing these images on to canvas with hopes of engaging others to partake in my world.  This series attempts to give visual definition to the many stages of human existence.  While some of the scenes address a more universal perspective, others are the direct product of my own experiences as a woman and a mother.
