Bass Harbor Lighthouse - Acrylic Painting

A resident of Bobcaygeon for the past seven years, David Foyn, was juried into the Society of Canadian Artists in 2006. Born in Shanghai, childhood in Bangkok, then England, immigrated to Canada, graduated from L’Ecole des Beaux Arts, Montreal, then 35 years as a graphic designer in Toronto before committing himself totally to fine arts.

David Foyn

His wonderful work is predominantly landscape paintings, inspired by his travels. He says of this show that

"nature has a way of composing itself. It is my goal as a landscape painter to find the best way to capture and express it on canvas".

We think you will find that he has when you come to visit this exhibition.

Please join David and the Lindsay Gallery for an Opening reception on Sunday, June 3rd, 1-3 pm where you can ask David questions about his work
