Sometimes whimsical, sometimes poignant, sometimes satirical, but always insightful, this artist’s style is influenced by his experiences an animation designer and director. A fresh, exciting, and very intimate way of looking at the world.
Artist's Statement
"Painting excites me and gives me motivation to get up every day. I like to use juicy colours and organic shapes in my work allowing me to create my own special environment inside my studio. Every painting is a piece straight from my imagination. I often fall asleep thinking of the colours I am going to paint the next day."

Henry Fernandes is an accomplished animation designer and illustrator. In recent years, Henry has turned his talents towards painting. The Lindsay Gallery is thrilled to have his compelling work on display for us all to see.
