Winter 2008 Classes

ADULT CLASSES

Chuck Burns - Acrylics Workshop
May 10 and 11, 2008, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Loblaws Community Room, Lindsay
Fee $105 Gallery Members, $130 Non-Members
Chuck's workshops in acrylics are designed for beginners or advanced students. Classes will involve demonstrations, critiques and group discussions. The will be ample opportunity to paint in the class. Emphasis will be on a simple approach to achieving strong, successful paintings.

Summer Art Camp for Kids
July 14th to 18th
Plans are underway for our Summer Art Camp for Kids July 14th to 18th. For five days, we will offer Art instruction for children ages 7 to 12 years old with a passion for art. We are also planning specific days for teens 13 to 18 years old.

How to Register

Registration for classes are accepted at The Gallery,
from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Closed from 11:30 - 12:00
Open Tuesday to Saturday.

INVITATION TO FUTURE INSTRUCTORS

The Art’s Programming Committee is presently accepting proposals for art class instruction for ALL learners (new & experienced artists, for adults & children) and will be preparing their - 2008 Art Programming brochure in the very near future.
Classes will be well advertised (an image of your work may be required for this purpose). Instructors will provide all needed art supplies and materials for the classes (a fee may be charged to participants for supplies provided by artist). The gallery pays a competitive hourly rate for all instruction.
If you are interested in offering art instruction, in a one or two day workshop or in a series of classes please submit a brief bio of your art experience and a short outline of the proposed course.
