Carol has been painting wildlife for a number of years, but only quite recently started using feathers as her canvas. The feathers used are mainly wild turkey tail feathers that she collects from the woods on her friend's property.
By trial and error Carol discovered how to treat these feathers so that they would accept the acrylic paints that she uses.
