Kawartha Potters' Guild on display at the Lindsay Gallery
The Kawartha Potters Guild is an organization of about fifty potters from the Kawartha and neighbouring regions. The Guild has been pursuing its goals of Learning, Sharing, and Teaching about Pottery for 15 years.
Further information about the Guild is available on-line at kawarthapottersguild.com. Some of our Guild members have many years of experience others are new to the craft; some Guild members earn their living as potters, while for others pottery making is a wonderful hobby.
Kawartha Potters Guild members create pottery in great variety of styles: some is sculptural or decorative while other pieces are beautiful functional dishes; some is shaped by hand other pieces are thrown on potters wheels.
Each piece of pottery is a unique hand created treasure.
