Welcome to our New Executive Director

Christina

The Board is pleased to announce that Christina Burns has been hired in the new position of Executive Director, and she started in the Gallery the first week of July.

Christina comes armed with an impressive background. She is a nationally award-winning
and certified event manager with ten years of experience which will be particularly helpful in her new role with the Gallery. Christina has a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) degree
from McMaster University, deep roots in Lindsay and is a graduate of I.E. Weldon Secondary School. The Executive Director position is being funded by our three year Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant, and Christina’s primary responsibilities will be raising the Gallery’s profile
in the community and developing new sources of funding through donations and sponsorships.

In her first months, she will be working closely with Connie Jacobs, our Administrator, and Margot Fawcett, President, and the Board, to familiarize herself with the Gallery’s
operations. Christina looks forward to meeting the Gallery members and summer visitors.
